"Groundbreaking in every sense of the word"
This game sets a new standard for storytelling in flash. Like all elements of a flash game, its not as flashy, as large, or as epic as its proffesionally developed game. Its beauty is in its simplicity. It simply puts itself out there - the scene in Africa when your running through the crowd moved me. True, the gameplay wasn't all it could have been. But that is not the point of the game. Its not a game you play. Its a game you experience. And that in itself is something of beauty.

While it does the overhead shooter well, this game left me with a "why am I still going?" feeling, causing me to quit at wave 13. I would recommend adding some sort of goal past survive as long as you can - prehaps implement some achievments? Thos had me playing some other zombie game way after I finished it. Keep up the good work!

While we have the big name games gracing our side with their armor games sponerships, its always a treasure to find a good "indie" game. And its even better when that game is more good. You've managed to put out a game that is far superior to many other flash games on one of your first efforts. Graphics style is awesome, control is tight, and the dificulty is just right. Excellent game, one of my new favorites.

No matter who you support, this game is AWFUL. There is virtually no gameplay, which is there to "prove a point". If they took this concept and turned it into a movie, then I would be more forgiving. But they didn't. Games should exist to have gameplay, not to prove a point.

Some of the best flash fight scenes I've ever watched. LOVE the way that Superman just owns Sub-Zero. I demand a sequel!

I still can remember when I first discovered Keytar Hero here on Newgrounds. I played the hell out of it, unlocking every bonus, beating every song, going after new high scores. Needless to say, when I found out that Keytar Hero 2 was in development, I get really excited. The finish product, however, fails to live up to the awesomeness of the first game
First, the new control scheme. I loved that the original Keytar Hero allowed me to play on my laptop. Now, you have the conformist control scheme, forcing me to use the desktop. While minor for most, I found this to be a large inconvience.
Secondly, graphics. This game is pretty. Its clear that you put a lot of effort into making everything clear and crisp while maintaining the style of the original game, as well as adding new backgrounds.
However, I felt that the focus was too much on the graphics. In order to show everything off, the size of the thing you have to hit notes on is DRASTICALLY reduced, making the game much smaller. The other objects shoul be background - the focus must remain on the gameplay.
Another thing that took a hit for graphics seems to be creating your charecter. This just seems like a stupid removal to me. You could have easily ported over all the old customization options, slapped on some new ones, and called it a day. Instead, we have only a few choices.
Next up, difficulty. It was WAY too high. I mean, the first one was by no means an easy game, but it wasn't too hard either, and kept you playing. This one, I get frustrated and quit. There is no "easy" or "hard" mode - everything scrolls the same speed.
Song choice. To be honest, I prefer the first game. While I'm not against adding profesional tracks, why do we have to removal all user created ones? I would rather have more user tracks and less proffesional tracks. And, if your going to use AC/DC, why not use Back in Black or Have a Drink on Me or something?
Closing comments: Honestly, I wasn't a fan of any of the changes you made. The beta for this game gave me hope that this would be just as good (depite lacking music) as the first, but for some reason you made a command decision to take the focus from gameplay to pretty graphics. You would have been better off with a track pack like addition to the first game or continuing with the path you were on when the beta was released. 4/10 2/5

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that this actually happened at Sony. Great flash, voice acting is top notch, as always.

I found this game pretty fun. As someone who is opposed to political flashes, I thought it was nice that you poked fun at both parties. Sadly, the voting is distored because people will just vote "helpful" on anything that slams republicans

It was fun while it lasted - I thought it was a tad on the easy side, however, and not something I would play again. I recommend trying to add difficulty levels in a later release, and expand in general - more cards, more items, etc.
